Connecting with Telehealth

Due to the coronavirus emergency, client appointments are being held via Telehealth.  Your clinician or a member of our office staff has most likely contacted you by now to ask for your preference on how you would like to conduct your session.  Because of this public health emergency, all methods of communication are being permitted by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and Ohio Medicaid, as well as most (possibly all) insurance companies.  This includes audio-to-video conversations, telephone conversations, and e-mail messages.  Some clients have requested using Facetime and Facebook Messenger as well.  Churchill provides online services through doxy.me, which is a HIPAA compliant site that we were using before this public health emergency occurred.  To connect with your clinician in this manner, type your clinician’s web address into the browser.  For example, https://doxy.me/sallyccs.  On the screen, type in your name, and click Check In.  Allow your browser to use your webcam and microphone.  Your clinician or a member of our office staff will inform you of your clinician’s “room number” name.  If you are new to Churchill, you will be instructed on how to complete registration forms and any other necessary paperwork prior to your first appointment.  Remember, we are here to help you during this stressful time.  Our offices are staffed most mornings, and we check our email throughout the day.  Thank you for your trust in us.
